Kristen Hale

Board Liaison

Kristen has been a member of WISE since the beginning, and joined in the fall of 2013.  She joined the Board in 2015 and has held various roles including  Event Planning, Vice President, President and currently serves as the Board Liaison.  She grew up in Warsaw, thanks to her father taking a job at Zimmer in the early 80’s.  She has moved away from Warsaw twice, but keeps returning, as her active participation in local organizations is important to her.  Kristen is also an active Board Member of One Warsaw, Michigan Blind Athlete Association, and Steering Committee Member of Kosciusko Young Adult Professionals (YAP).  With over 12 years at Zimmer Biomet, Kristen made a career transition mid-year, and she is now splitting her time between OrthoWorx, Inc and Kosciusko Economic Development Corporation (KEDCO) as Talent Partner.  She loves her new team members and is passionate about the Initiatives she’s taken on within both organizations.  She has taken over management of the OrthoWorx Orthopedic Young Professional Advisors (OYPA) and planning of all their events, Social Media and Marketing, as well as supporting other projects.  On the KEDCO side, Kristen leads the Talent Initiative while helping to build out the Housing Initiative, Event Planning and Management, initiating the Rising Leader Award and Mentoring Program, and supports other KEDCO initiatives.  In her free time, Kristen likes to learn by listening to podcasts and reading lots of articles.  If you are interested in getting involved in Kosciusko County, she’s great at connecting people to find a place you can share your time, talent or treasure.  Kristen has enjoyed connecting through our virtual events and can’t wait to see where WISE can expand to support the women of K County in 2021!
